SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - A newborn baby boy was found outside an apartment building on Worthington Street in Springfield. That baby was found abandoned on Worthington Street during one of the coldest nights of the season so far. On Tuesday at around 7:45 p.m., a 911 caller reported that someone had left a baby outside their apartment building. Officers arrived in the area of the 1000 block of Worthington Street and found a baby boy who appeared to be a few weeks old. The baby was taken to Baystate Medical Center for evaluation and is stable.
