Woman suspected of possessing illegal firearms, drugs arrested

RAMONA, Calif. (FOX 5/KUSI) -- Authorities seized drugs and illegal firearms at a home Monday in Ramona, authorities said.
Dena Leo, 37, was arrested on suspicion of possession of methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, illegally manufactured firearms, large capacity magazines and delaying/obstructing a peace officer, the San Diego County Sheriff's Department said in a news release Tuesday.

The incident occurred Monday around 7 a.m. at a home in the 100 block of Cowboy Court, where the resident at the address had prior arrests for numerous charges, including assault with a deadly weapon, firearm, burglary and attempted murder, according to authorities.
When deputies arrived, they conducted a Fourth Amendment wavier search on the home, finding usable amount of methamphetamine in a common area, a gun safe of over a thousand rounds of ammunition, five high-capacity magazines, a home-made suppressor and eleven firearms, including two ghost guns, the sheriff's department said.
Leo was booked into the Las Colinas Detention and Reentry Facility.
