PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — Police are investigating after three men were shot in Providence Tuesday afternoon. Maj. David Lapatin confirmed that the men were shot near a housing complex on Whelan Road. The men were brought to the hospital with injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening, Lapatin added.
