EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) - The University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) is featured in season 12 of "The College Tour," a groundbreaking TV series now streaming on Amazon Prime Video, the university announced in a news release. The university said the episode "serves as a vehicle to help students across the world connect with UTEP." “UTEP is one of the best stories in higher education today,” UTEP Vice President for Marketing and Communications Lucas Roebuck said. “The 'College Tour' program is telling our amazing story of access to excellent education and the uniqueness of El Paso to new audiences around the world.” The show, which is hosted by one of the show’s producers and a past winner of "The Amazing Race" TV series Alex Boylan, travels the country telling the story of each college and university through the diverse lens of its students, according to UTEP. “UTEP offers students an extraordinary experience, and we’re so excited to share that on 'The College Tour,'” Alex Boylan said. “For students, choosing which college to attend is a monumental decision, and this episode gives prospective students a first-hand look at what makes the Home of the Miners so special.” In addition, the show is available on Amazon Prime Video and at www.thecollegetour.com.
