SLIDELL, La. (WGNO) — Deputies with the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office are investigating a shooting that left two people dead in Slidell on Monday, Oct. 14. The STPSO reported that deputies responded to a shooting outside of a business near the intersection of Gause Boulevard and Military Road around 4 p.m. Former St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office employee accused of theft, money laundering At the scene, deputies said they found a man and a woman who had been shot. (WGNO/Chris Carter)(WGNO/Chris Carter) The man was pronounced dead at the scene, and the woman was taken to a hospital, where she later died. According to the STPSO, "at this time it appears to be domestic in nature and all involved individuals are accounted for." The investigation is ongoing, and the STPSO did not release additional information.
