LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – Authorities in Laurel County are investigating a shooting incident that occurred in a parking lot off of US 25, resulting in damage to two vehicles. The event unfolded on Thursday morning when two men encountered each other. One individual reportedly fired two shots toward the other, causing damage to a nearby SUV and a Jeep. According to the Laurel County Sheriff’s Office, the bullets passed through the window of the SUV and struck the driver’s side door of the Jeep. Both men, believed to be cousins, left the scene before deputies arrived. Investigators are urging anyone with information about the shooting to contact the Laurel County Sheriff’s Office.
