VISALIA, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) - A dog has died after being shot in an attempted drive-by shooting, Visalia police say.
Officers were dispatched to the 1500 block of North Willis Street, near Sweet Avenue, around 11:20 Saturday night.
They were responding to a report of a drive-by shooting.
They say they arrived at the location to find a medium-sized, mixed-breed dog in the front yard that had been shot. The dog died at the scene.
Suspect information and a vehicle description have yet to be released to the media.
