CSPD: Bomb squad finds no explosives after threats

(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) responded to threats of explosives at a home on Wooten Road near Palmer Park Boulevard on Saturday night, Oct. 12.
FOX21 News sent a photojournalist to the scene at around 9:30 p.m. and found a heavy police presence and a bomb squad truck at the location.

According to CSPD, reports were received of a person claiming to have explosives in the 1300 block of Wooten. When officers arrived, they found tripwires in the yard and the bomb squad responded to search the home. No evidence of explosive devices was found, and there was determined to be no threat to the public.
