WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) - KANSASWORKS is hosting a five-day virtual job fair this week. The job fair will be from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, Oct. 14 through Friday, Oct. 18. “The holidays are approaching and that means businesses are needing additional hard-working staff to keep up with the upcoming busy seasons,” Lieutenant Governor and Secretary of Commerce David Toland said. “Whether you are looking for a seasonal or permanent role, there are plenty of options for full-time and part-time positions all across the state.” Candidates can participate through any digital device, but a laptop/computer is recommended. ‘Everyone can do something’: People show support for foster children at Open Streets ICT "The Virtual Statewide Job Fair portal features helpful information such as a jobseeker training video, a list of participating employers and channels for attendees to register and log in. Jobseekers are encouraged to dress professionally, as employers might request to engage in a video interview," said the Kansas Department of Commerce in a news release.
