Mount Olivet, Ky. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) – A Shockwave of horrific news spread throughout the Robertson County community this week following the arrest of a local woman in connection with disturbing discoveries made at her home. “Next thing I know, police, ‘shoom’,” recalled nearby resident, Mike Graves,”…. “People start talking and rumors start flying, we didn’t know who it was,” he said. On Wednesday, state police say they searched a home on Brierly Ridge Road, where they uncovered the dismembered body of Trudy Fields, next to a blood-stained mattress behind the house. Investigators say during the search they found multiple body parts inside a stainless steel pot in the oven. The woman’s daughter, 32-year-old Torilena Fields has since been arrested and is facing multiple charges related to the incident. “It’s sad, it’s sickening, if somebody does that, they need help,” said Graves.”I just know what happened, there’s a person dead, there’s a person in jail. It’s sad it just should have never happened,” said Graves.” Resident Mike Graves, whose wife is a teacher and knew Trudy’s family, told ABC 36, that she was stunned when the news came out. “Just shocked, can’t believe it all happened, she knew the family and they were good to her, and she knew them. I mean it’s not somebody you see every day, we saw them because it was down the road. Like it said you don’t have anything here, a gas station a dollar store, you bumped into someone, somewhere,” said Graves. Another neighbor, who lived next to where the incident happened, described the people who lived in the house as good neighbors. Graves noted that while Mount Olivet is a small community, residents generally look out for one another. “This is one of those towns, where if you need help we’ll help you. I mean we’re all friendly we get a long, it’s small town community,” said Graves. “This kind of stuff doesn’t need to happen anywhere, from Mount Olivet to New York, California, Florida,” said Graves. Torilena Fields is scheduled for an arraignment on October 14th.
