RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- The American Liver Foundation is hosting a "Liver Life Walk" in Richmond to raise money for liver disease research this weekend. The American Liver Foundation, which is hosting walks in 16 states, as well as Washington D.C., works to raise awareness of liver disease and fund life-saving research. Money raised during these walks will go towards research and other initiatives in support of people living with liver diseases and their families. Chesterfield man shares transplant journey for Liver Awareness Month Richmond's walk will take place from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 12 at Byrd Park.
