COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) -- A Columbus man pleaded guilty Thursday to two counts of murder for a shooting outside a northeast Columbus bar in March 2023.  Jonathan Pigram, 38, of Columbus, also pleaded guilty to two counts of attempted murder and one count of weapons under disability for an unrelated case, the Franklin County Prosecutor's Office said.  Grove City man guilty of Jan. 6 charges Pigram admitted to shooting and killing Cornet Powell, 41, and Dawn Dunn, 41, outside of Cheers Too on Cleveland Avenue on March 1, 2023. Pigram also shot at two other people outside the bar that night, hitting one of them in the face and missing the other. Police said that Pigram did not know any of the victims.  The prosecutor’s office is recommending Pigram be sentenced to life in prison with the possibility of parole after 52 years. A sentencing date hasn’t been scheduled.
