Hurricane Milton’s landfall is imminent as Floridians brace themselves for another Major Hurricane. Milton is a Category 3 storm, with maximum sustained winds of 120 mph. Aside from the hurricane force winds, it’s already brought more than a month’s worth of rain to some areas, and tornadoes to others. The storm will make landfall by tonight, then rush across the Florida peninsula and back out to the Atlantic. As for us in the Ocean State? Life is pretty good. We have a cool night ahead, with temperatures getting down into the mid and low 40s. Tomorrow will stay cool, despite the sunshine, with temperatures in the upper 50s. We’ll enter a brief warming trend as Friday brings the mid 60s, then Saturday the low 70s. Both days will stay pleasant and mostly sunny. Clouds will increase Sunday, and a storm coming from the Great Lakes looks like it’ll try to bring us some showers between Sunday night and Monday mid-morning. Temperatures both days will be in the low 60s. Categories: News, Weather Forecast
