FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) A Public Safety Alert was sent out early Wednesday afternoon for a boy with autism in Fort Wayne. Authorities are asking for the public's help in finding 11-year-old Elijah Newport. He's missing from a neighborhood on Fort Wayne's near northeast side in the vicinity of Vance Avenue west of Crescent. Elijah weighs 90 pounds and is 5' tall. He was wearing a camo Minecraft shirt and black shorts. Anyone who believes they know where Elijah might be is asked to call 911 or (260) 449-7486.
