It's another chilly morning, with temperatures in the 30s and 40s across the area. Our skies are clear, which has allowed us to get so cold. Similar to previous days, we'll get back into the 70s this afternoon. Temperatures this morning rise from our morning lows, which will be in the upper 30s, and get into the 50s by 10 AM, and into the lower 60s for lunchtime. No rain, with lots of sunshine today with chilly temps to start, and then warming into the 60s for lunchtime. Have those sunglasses handy, as not only will we see sunny skies all day today, but we will see more plentiful sunshine for Thursday and even most of Friday. High temperatures today reach the lower 70s, very similar to past days... chilly morning, warm afternoon. Enjoy this nice day with high temps in the lower 70s for most. It will be another day without rain, which is nice for outdoor activities, but this will continue our dry stretch, likely exacerbating drought conditions. WANE 15 will have the latest drought updates with the new release of the Drought Monitor tomorrow. Northeast Indiana and northwest Ohio will be without rain chances for the rest of the work week, and then a strong cold front approaches for the weekend, which will bring scattered rain chances. Rain totals seen this weekend will be minimal, unfortunately. Weekend highs will be in the 70s but, early next week, temps will only reach as highs as the upper 50s after the front moves through. None of the rain from Hurricane Milton will reach us here in northeast Indiana and northwest Ohio.
