Partly to mostly cloudy. A sprinkle or brief light shower just before dawn.. Temperatures falling to the low to mid 40s
WEDNESDAY FORECAST
After a chilly start, another nice day is expected for Wednesday with sunshine and highs in the low to mid 60s.
LOOKING AHEAD
Noticeably chilly late Wednesday night with lows in the low 40s. Many areas could be in the upper 30s by dawn Thursday. Thursday looks nice, but much cooler, afternoon highs only upper 50s.
LATEST ON HURRICANE MILTON
Milton has intensified into a Category 5 storm again. Winds now at 160mph
High resolution satellite imagery shows the storm has re-organized once again
A landfall on the west coast of the Florida peninsula is still expected....near the Tampa area or just to the south of that near Siesta Key/Sarasota/Venice
JUST IN: New data from the National Hurricane Center has shifted the forecast track a bit south of the Tampa Bay area

THURSDAY 12:00AM (late Wednesday Night)
Winds could be between 111 and 130mph as it makes landfall later Wednesday night.
THURSDAY 2:00PM
Milton is expected to bring a life-threatening 10-15 ft storm surge to the parts west central coast.
We're still expecting flooding rains along the left hand side of the track....north of the track in this case.
