EAST TROY, Wis. (WFRV) – Authorities in Wisconsin are investigating an officer-involved shooting that left a woman in critical condition on Monday afternoon. According to a release, on Oct. 7, 2024, at around 3:45 p.m., the Walworth County Sheriff's Office received a report of a disturbance at a residence on Wilmers Grove Rd. in East Troy. Georgia man arrested in Wisconsin for multi-state scam targeting elderly victims The male caller reported that he was allegedly being attacked by a woman armed with a razor blade. Upon arrival, law enforcement confirmed that the suspect had injured the caller with the razor blade. The suspect then exited the residence through a window, armed with a knife. Despite multiple commands from law enforcement, the woman advanced toward the officers, at which point a Walworth County Sheriff's deputy shot her with a rifle. First responders immediately provided life-saving medical aid to the woman, who was then transported to a local hospital in critical condition.
