Wisconsin police department dispatched to school, rescues owl tangled in soccer net

OCONOMOWOC, Wis. (WFRV) - A trio of Wisconsin police officers were given a shoutout in a Tuesday afternoon Facebook post after the group rescued a trapped animal last weekend.
The Oconomowoc Police Department shared photos of Officers Resche, Parkhurst and Kenny, who were dispatched to Nature Hill Intermediate School on a report that an owl was tangled in a soccer net.

The three officers worked together, releasing the owl from the net safely. The owl was able to fly away unharmed.
