OSHKOSH, Wis. (WFRV) - The Oshkosh Police Department announced its monthly crime statistics, which included over 50 thefts in September. The post featured a variety of statistics, including the year-to-date (YTD) numbers from 2023 and 2024, in which most have seen at least a 17% decrease. While there were 53 thefts in September, the YTD number of 576 is still far lower in 2024, with an 18.9% decrease from 2023 (710).
