Packers staff assembles care packages for veterans, plays bingo with residents at Woodside Senior Communities

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) - On Monday, the Green Bay Packers staff participated in a Give Back Day, assembling care packages for veteran residents at Woodside Senior Communities.
This event is part of their Salute to Service campaign in recognition of Military Appreciation Week.

"This is just a small way for us to show our appreciation and honor those who have served and given us our freedom," Amanda Wery, the Green Bay Packers Community Outreach Manager, said. "We are excited and honored to host a variety of different members and be in different spaces to express our gratitude."
After delivering the packages, they stuck around to play a few games of bingo with the residents.
