BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) -- Before playing the Bills for the first time since being traded this past offseason, Stefon Diggs disguised some of his feelings in an attempt to "block out the noise." It turns out, the Texans' 23-20 victory on Sunday "meant a lot," the former Bills star said postgame. "Held it in the whole week, energy-wise, tried not to bring it up too much," Diggs said." I just tried to keep it professional, but obviously in the back of my mind it meant a lot to me. Wanted to do more showing than telling." Diggs finished Sunday's game with six receptions for 82 yards. That exceeded the production of Buffalo's entire wide receiver group, which combined to catch four passes on 18 targets for 76 yards. Beyond the statistics, Diggs was pleased to be on the winning sideline when the game ended -- and when greeting Josh Allen among several former teammates at midfield afterward. Josh Allen took a minute after the game to seek out Stefon Diggs. They shared a short embrace. And that was it. #Bills pic.twitter.com/azFSdq99MI— Thad Brown (@thadbrown7) October 6, 2024 "I play with a lot of passion and a lot of love. I can't say I didn't think about this game when I got traded. Wondered if we played them, and then obviously it was on the schedule," Diggs said. "I take it one game at a time, and I knew when this game came about, I was just trying to take advantage and get a win for my team. Obviously it's emotional, I play with a lot of emotions." *** Jonah Bronstein joined the WIVB squad in 2022 as a digital sports reporter.
