Storms cause damage Sunday night around Rochester and Western New York

ROCHESTER, NY (WROC) - Strong storms along a cold front Sunday night brought some street flooding as well as hail and wind damage throughout Western New York and parts of the Finger Lakes.

Several warnings were issued throughout the evening from about 7pm to 9pm as the cold front moved overhead.

There were some outages as well. A brief spike in outages after the storms topped out at just over 1,000 RG&E customers, but the number shrank quickly as crews were able to restore power back to those customers.
