(Photo/Shutterstock) Plans to rebrand the Lee’s Summit Municipal Airport as the “Greater Kansas City Regional Airport” is causing turbulence with Kansas City Mayor Quinton Lucas. In fact, it’s igniting a war of words between the two cities and threats of legal action. Mayor Lucas claims the name change will lead to mass confusion. Leaders in Lee’s Summit say the new moniker will increase visibility and drum up more business for its expanding airfield. A vote on the name change is set for Tuesday night. Police Chief Linked to Kansas Newspaper Raid Set for Hearing The police chief who made headlines for raiding a Kansas newspaper last year will finally head to court today. Gideon Cody faces one count of interference with the judicial process, a felony with a possible punishment of seven to 23 months in prison. Also heading to court this week… Andrew Lester. He’s the 85-year-old homeowner who made national news after shooting a Black teenager in the head in a Kansas City Northland neighborhood. Lester will undergo a mental evaluation on Tuesday. His attorneys say he is showing signs of cognitive decline and is not fit to stand trial. World’s Largest Steam Locomotive– If you’re a train lover, you might want to swing by Union Station this week as the world’s largest steam locomotive makes a two-day stop in Kansas City. Union Pacific’s ‘Big Boy’ is scheduled to arrive at Union Station on Tuesday at 6:45 p.m. It will depart Thursday at 9 a.m. Big Boy is one of 25 steam locomotives built in America during World War II.
