Their condition remains unknown at this time. ***** MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) is investigating after a deputy and a suspect exchanged gunfire in Tipton County on Sunday. In a post made to social media, Tipton County Sheriff Shannon Beasley said that deputies and EMS were on the scene of a shooting on Riverchase in Quito Estates. Preliminary information has revealed that a deputy arrived on the scene of a call where a suspect was making threats with a firearm. Upon arrival, the deputy encountered an armed party refusing to cooperate with the deputy and making suicidal threats. 1 dead in FBI-involved shooting in Hernando, MS According to Sheriff Beasley, shots were eventually fired by law enforcement and the suspect. The condition of the deputies involved and the suspect have not yet been announced. Sheriff Beasley said that the TBI will be handling the investigation. The TBI released a statement Sunday night. "At the request of 25th DAG Mark Davidson, TBI special agents are investigating an officer- involved shooting that occurred on Fleetwood Drive in Tipton County this evening.
