REPORT: Shots fired toward NOPD officers executing warrant, SWAT team responding

NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Shots were fired toward officers, that's according to intial reports from the New Orleans Police Department.
According to the NOPD, officers were serving a warrant in the 3100 block of or N. Tonti Street around 7 p.m. That's when the report says shots were fired at officers.
No injuries have been reported at this time.
11-year-old and adult killed in LaPlace double homicide
Officers say the suspect has barricaded themselves inside a residence.
A SWAT roll has been issued to the residence.
According the NOPD, the suspect is believed to be involved in a homicide that occurred earlier today on Louisa Street.
The NOPD asks the public to stay away from the area of Feliciana Street and N. Miro Street.
