GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) - Organizers held a Pop Con Junior event to prepare for Pop Con at the Brown County Library this weekend. Kids were able to play games and learn how to draw alongside cartoonist Robb Mommaerts. They even saw some of Mommaerts' newest work with the Monstrous Adventures of Mummy Man and Waffles. ‘Operation Fill The Cruiser’ delivers over 10 tons of donations to Hurricane Helene victims, six semis en route from Wisconsin "I've always enjoyed visiting schools and libraries, and it also gives me a lot of ideas for different characters," stated Mommaerts. "Kids are so creative. They're unfiltered, and the interesting things they come up with..." Pop Con is also back at the Brown County Central Library on Saturday, and they're encouraging participants to dress up as their favorite superhero or pop culture character.
