ROWAN COUNTY, N.C. – Deputies are asking for the public’s help in locating a 46-year-old man wanted for sexual abuse of a child in Rowan County. Ashish Mahale has active arrest warrants for first degree forcible rape, first degree forcible sex offense, incest with a child, crime against nature and taking indecent liberties with a child. Detectives began an investigation on September 9th and accused Mahale of sexually abusing a child he knew. His wife, 34-year-old Emily Mahale, was arrested on October 3rd in connection to this investigation. She was charged with contributing to the abuse or neglect of a child and child abuse.
