North Providence police searching for four masked men after alleged home invasion

NORTH PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — North Providence police are searching for four masked men who allegedly broke into a home and stole valuables yesterday.
According to officials, it happened at 2:30 p.m. when four masked men allegedly forced entry into a home on Rosner Street, two of them armed with guns.
The female victim told police that the intruders seemed to be familiar with the interior of the residence, as they knew where to obtain the valuables that were stolen.
Police said new sneakers, new clothes, jewelry and a small amount of money were taken.
The suspects allegedly fled the scene in a stolen vehicle out of Cumberland.
The victim was not injured.
Police are investigating the incident.
