One injured in house fire in SE Oklahoma City

UPDATE @ 10.4.2024: Firefighters confirm, the fire has been contained to the exterior and extinguished. The victim has been transported by EMSA in critical condition to a local hospital, according to OKCFD.
The scene is still an active investigation with no other injuries reported at this time.

OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) - The Oklahoma City Fire Department says one person was injured in house fire in Southeast Oklahoma City.

According to fire officials, firefighters were called to a house fire near Southeast 44th St. when crews observed a large amount of smoke to the east. Upon arrival, an adult female was found with burn injuries.
Authorities say the call came in around 10 a.m. No word on the condition of the female at this time.
