And much like these past few days, you won't need it for the afternoon. Heading out the door this morning, skies are mostly sunny. These sunny and clear conditions will not stick around unfortunately, as clouds increase later this morning, seeing partly to mostly cloudy skies heading into lunchtime. Temperatures reach the mid-50s by 9 am, and the mid-60s near lunchtime. High temperatures for our Friday reach the mid-70s, which will be seen late in the afternoon. It will be a comfortable Friday with highs in the mid-70s. We will see a cold front move through today, although we won't notice any temperature change, especially considering the weekend forecast below. A sprinkle or two will be possible along the front this afternoon. mainly in our extreme western parts of the area, but the vast majority of us will be dry. For Friday night football, games start with temps in the upper 60s and fall to the low 60s by the 4th quarter. Bring a jacket. Currently, there are no major weather worries in the football forecast. Temperatures for Friday football will fall into the lower 60s by the end of the games. Even though we will have a cold front move through on Friday, we will actually be warmer for this weekend. Saturday, highs will be in the upper 70s. Warmer on Sunday with Fort Wayne reaching the 80 degree mark. There will be plenty of sunshine for the weekend. This weekend, temperatures reach the upper 70s on Saturday. It will be hot Sunday with a high of 80°. Sunday will be our only 80-degree day in the forecast, as a proper cold front moves through overnight. While we will be dry, Monday's highs will be in the upper 60s.
