NARRAGANSETT, R.I. (WLNE) — A community mourned Thursday in remembrance of a Narragansett mother who was strangled to death. Zoe Robinson’s death has shocked the congregation of St. Peter’s by-the-Sea Church, especially since her son, Bryan Wilson, is accused of killing her. Parishioners said Robinson made a profound impact at the church. “Zoe was a very big part of our congregation, she was a member of our council,” Fr. Craig Swan said. “When it came to pastoring, she touched so many lives with her love.” Robinson was found dead in her home on Sept. 30, and police said her son strangled her to death. The community at the church said they would remember her as a model of hope and faith, noting her laugh could light up any room. “We gather to comfort one another in the way that community does,” Swan said. “To reassure each other that we’re not alone in our grief and to begin to process the hurt and the pain that Zoe’s death has created within our community.” Categories: News, Rhode Island
