APPLETON, Wis. (WFRV) - St. Vincent de Paul officially opened its second Appleton store on Thursday following a grand opening ceremony. The thrift store, located at 1175 N. Westhill Blvd., will sell clothing, books, household items, furniture, and more. It will also include a donation drop-off. Detecting heart condition before birth gives baby in Wisconsin a healthy start to life "The addition of another store will provide customers with more great deals and a wider selection of items,” said Executive Director Jody Kasten. “All funds raised at our stores support our community programs for our neighbors in need.” The store's hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Donations will be accepted from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. The store is closed on Sunday. The new store’s opening does not impact the current 1924 W. College Ave. store. ‘Operation Song’ makes trip to Green Bay, helping Veterans tell their life stories through music St. Vincent de Paul’s Appleton serves the community by offering vouchers to the store and financial assistance to neighbors in need in parts of Outagamie and Waupaca counties. In 2023, the Appleton store provided 17,345 items via vouchers and $229,712.75 in financial assistance through its bed, home visit, and voucher programs.
