Bakersfield Symphony Orchestra's 93rd season begins Saturday

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) -- Two Bakersfield Symphony Orchestra is set to premiere two pieces during the opening night of their 93rd season Saturday.
The concerto will feature the West Coast premiere of Jonathan Cziner's "Solaris" and a new orchestra composition, "Verdant," by CSUB's professor Dr. Kyle Shaw on Oct. 5.

Renowned violinist, Stella Chen, will also be performing two concerts. The concert will be followed by a gala at the Mechanics Bank Theater. You can expect to meet Stella Chen, and graze different food and drinks.
Tickets for the gala are $150 and can be purchased at bsonow.org. The post-concert festivities begin at 7:30 p.m.
