FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - Cousins Maine Lobster is bringing seafood from Maine to Fort Wayne on Thursday. Since the business' stint on Shark Tank a decade ago, it has opened multiple restaurants and many more food trucks, which are on the road traveling the country. On Thursday's stop, a Chicago-based truck is serving up lobster meals at Fortlandia Brewing Company from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Trinity Lutheran Church, behind the brewing company, is providing space in its lot for parking and tables to accommodate the hundreds who are expected to indulge in the seafood feast. While there are 29 seats inside Fortlandia, there's a family-friendly picnic area nearby and many more spots in the vicinity to enjoy lobster and drinks from the taproom, which is located at 1010 Spring St. Fortlandia said on Facebook that in addition to its taproom and patio, there is a tent for ages 21 and older with tables and chairs. Four beers are on tap. It's recommended that customers use Cousins Maine Lobster's mobile app to order meals. While construction has closed a section of Spring Street, Fortlandia said alternate routes include taking State Boulevard to St. Marys Avenue or Jefferson Boulevard to Main Street, turning left on Van Buren Street/ Sherman Boulevard. Check Fortlandia's Facebook page for updates on Thursday's "Maine" event.
