SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) -- March Madness is returning to San Francisco, to Chase Center, specifically. As previously announced, the venue will host the 2025 NCAA Division I Men's Basketball West Regionals on March 27 and 29 of 2025. Next year will mark the second time Chase Center has hosted March Madness. In 2022, during the NCAA Division I Men's Basketball West Regionals at Chase, Duke University advanced to the Final Four after defeating Arkansas, 78-69. In 1939, the city hosted the West Regionals at the California Coliseum on Treasure Island. On Wednesday, the NCAA announced that SF's Chase Center will host the 2028 Division I Men's Basketball West Regionals. The West Coast Conference will serve as the host. Exact dates for the regional round, which will consist of Sweet 16 and Elite 8, will be announced at a later date, according to Chase Center.
