CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Dozens of organizations from the Carolinas to California are helping in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene. One of those is Samaritan’s Purse, based in Boone in Watauga County. We talked with Jason Kimak, Senior Director of the North American Ministries, about how they’ve been helping and what they’ve been seeing on the ground.
