MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) -- Detectives in Montgomery County are working on learning what led to a deadly shooting in Silver Spring, near Seek Lane Park on Tuesday night. Around 9:45 p.m. on Oct., 1, police officers responded to the 700 Block of Seek Lane for a report of a shooting, according to the Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD). There, they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. He died at the scene. ‘Machines don’t feed families’: Thousands of dockworkers strike at ports along East, Gulf Coasts On Tuesday night, crime scene tape surrounded areas of the park as crews collected evidence. Police said no suspect information was available and no arrests have been made. The victim's name has not been released as of Wednesday morning. The shooting remains under investigation.
