TOPEKA (KSNT) - A restaurant in southwest Topeka is calling it quits in the Capital City by announcing it will close for the last time later this month. The Burger Stand Topeka announced on social media Tuesday, Oct. 1 that it will be shutting down after being in service for 13 years. The restaurant will stay open until Oct. 26. "We are deeply grateful to everyone who has supported us along the way, and it has been a true pleasure to serve this amazing community. We couldn’t be prouder of our staff, whose dedication to great food and service has made this journey so special. Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your lives and memories."
