PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The Rhode Island Nursing Education Center was evacuated this morning, according to a campus alert from Rhode Island College. According to a social media posting, the center was evacuated out of abundance of caution due to unspecified threat. The Providence Police investigated and determined it is safe to return to the building and resume classes. The posting did not specify what the threat was.
