Mary J. Blige's 'For My Fans' tour coming to New Orleans

NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — The Queen of Hip-Hop Soul, Mary J. Blige has announced a New Orleans stop on her "For My Fans" tour.
The "Real Love" singer announced the tour comes on the heels of the release of her new album "Gratitude" happening Nov. 15.
The Grammy and Emmy award-winning, Oscar-nominated singer says both the tour and album are a "celebration of the love and gratitude that she has towards her life, family, friends and her beloved friends."
“I am so excited to kick off this tour. I have amazing fans and am so grateful for all of the love and support they have given me throughout the years,” said Blige.

"Gratitude" follows two years after the release of "Good Morning Gorgeous" and will feature artists such as Fabolous.
The 27-city tour kicks off Thursday, Jan. 30, 2025, in North Carolina, stops in New Orleans on Valentine's Day, Friday, Feb. 14, 2025, at the Smoothie King Center and ends in Boston on Monday, April 14, 2025.
“This tour is for them, and I cannot wait to be able to travel to all these cities and see everyone. I am in such a place of immense gratitude and peace at this moment, so also having the chance to release my new album “Gratitude” on November 15th ahead of this tour is really special to me," said Blige.
Joining her on the tour are "Miss Independent" singer NE-YO and "Braid My Hair" singer Mario.

Ahead of both events, Blige will be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on Oct. 19 in Cleveland. She will be honored for her music released throughout the years including hits "Family Affair," "Just Fine," "I'm Going Down" and "Love Is All We Need."
Artist presale tickets are set to go on sale starting Tuesday, Oct.1 and will run until Friday, Oct. 4 when the general ticket sales start at 10 a.m.
