(CNN)– The new iPhone 16 is not selling as well as expected.
According to 1 analyst, Apple sold an estimated 37 million units in the first weekend of pre-sales.
That is down more than 12% when compared to sales of new iPhones during the same period last year.
Experts say customers may be waiting to buy a new phone because the highly touted “Apple Intelligence” features won’t be available until next month.
But despite the slow start, most analysts expect sales to increase as we head into the holiday season.
