FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) - The driver of a Toyota Tundra who was killed in a crash on Goldenrod Avenue and Jensen Avenues near Kerman late Sunday morning has been named by officials. According to the Fresno County Coroner's Office, the driver who was killed was 27-year-old Roberto Vasquez from Fresno. He was driving the Toyota Tundra on Goldenrod Avenue but failed to stop at the stop sign at the intersection of Jensen Avenue. Driver dies in Fresno County crash after running stop sign: CHP At the same time, CHP says a woman driving with her two children down Jensen Avenue with no stop sign went to cross the intersection when her vehicle was struck by the Toyota Tundra, causing both vehicles to roll over before coming to a stop. CHP officials say Vasquez died on the scene and the woman and her two children were transported to the hospital with minor to moderate injuries. The CHP describes the intersection as dangerous - and officers say drivers need to be careful.
