VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) - The Virginia Beach Fire Department responded to a residential fire late Sunday night. According to officials, crews were dispatched to the 1000 block of Smoke Tree Lane, near Holland Road, just after 9:30 p.m. Crews arrived to the scene and found heavy smoke coming from a two-story townhome. No injuries were reported during the incident, but one adult and two children were displaced. The Red Cross has been called to assist the family displaced.
