BRUNSWICK COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- The bodies of two people were found with gunshot wounds in Brunswick County on Sunday morning. According to the Brunswick County Sheriff's Office, at around 9:20 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 29, the office's Communications Center received a call regarding a male laying on the shoulder of the road in the 100 block of Blue Bird Road in Dundas. When deputies responded to the scene, it appeared that the male victim had a gunshot wound. The body of a female, which also had a gunshot wound, was located several hundred yards away from the male on Blue Bird Road. Deputies and investigators are still actively working the crime scene -- neither victim has been identified at this time. Both victims have been transported to the Medical Examiner's office in Richmond.
