WEST ALLIS, Wis. (WFRV) - Two men, allegedly involved in a carjacking earlier Friday morning, were arrested following a shots-fired call in Wisconsin. According to a release, on Sept. 27, shortly after 7:00 a.m., officers with the West Allis Police Department received numerous reports regarding gunshots being fired around the 2400 block of S. 66th St. ‘Put your phone away’: Sheriff’s office increasing enforcement in rural parts of county in northern Wisconsin after recent crashes Officers responded to the scene and determined the gunfire occurred in the 2400 block of S. 65th St., and two suspects allegedly involved in the incident had fled the scene on foot. The two suspects were taken into custody shortly after the shots were fired in a nearby neighborhood, with the assistance of the Milwaukee Police Department. A preliminary investigation revealed that earlier Friday, the suspects were reportedly involved in a carjacking in Milwaukee and then drove to West Allis. In West Allis, the suspects attempted to enter parked cars. During the attempted entry, the suspects were confronted by a West Allis residence, and as the suspects drove away, they fired gunshots at the resident, crashed into some parked cars, and fled the scene. Nobody was injured during the shots fired, although several vehicles suffered bullet holes.
