Court records show that Pauline Beyer appeared in court that Monday morning for further proceedings, stating she is currently participating in the Competency Restoration Program. During Beyer's last hearing, the presiding judge did not order Beyer to the custody of DHS on the record, but that was agreed upon via email by the attorneys after that hearing. An additional hearing date has yet to be set until the judge gets further reports from DHS. On January 29, around 6:15 p.m. officers were sent to a reported bomb threat in the 1100 block of Algoma Boulevard. A religious leader got a phone call saying that the person calling was going to bomb the church in two to three hours. Authorities searched the area, and nothing was found out of the ordinary or suspicious. It was later learned that Beyer contacted a detective and confessed to making the phone call in regards to the bomb threat, according to the complaint. Authorities went to Beyer's residence, which is in Clintonville, and took her into custody. Beyer reportedly told authorities that she decided to call in a bomb threat to get the FBI to come to her residence and help her. It is stated in the complaint that Beyer said she had no intent to bomb anything and had no plans to come to Oshkosh to do anything or harm anyone. Beyer is charged with: Bomb Scare Felony Up to three and a half years in prison Court records show that Beyer was in court on January 30 for her initial appearance and that she requested more time to get counsel. She is scheduled to be back in court on January 31 at 2:30 p.m. for an adjourned initial appearance.
