CHARLOTTE, N.C. – One person is dead after a fallen tree trapped two people in a home on Friday, morning, according to Medic. Charlotte firefighters and Medic responded to a call on Brookway Drive near Brookshire Boulevard around 5:11 a.m. Upon arrival, Medic confirmed one person was found dead at the scene and another was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. According to firefighters, two children were found in the home unharmed. No additional details.
