BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) -- A man accused of threatening to kill his girlfriend, prompting an hourslong police standoff, has pleaded no contest to misdemeanor charges, court records show. Mauro Zepeda-Gonzalez pleaded no contest earlier this month to spousal battery and resisting arrest. He was sentenced to time served and three years' probation, according to court records. The girlfriend escaped unharmed. Zepeda-Gonzalez barricaded himself inside, police said. He was arrested hours later when a SWAT team stormed the house.
