LONDON, Ky. (WTVQ) — A New York woman facing fraud charges in nine states, including Kentucky, has been arrested in Laurel County.   Police say 47-year-old Roberta Padgett was arrested last week after learning of her location through an extensive investigation. In the case in London, police say Padgett went into Community Trust Bank and used a passport belonging to an active bank member to withdraw $1,200. The London Police Department says its investigators, along with the Lagrange Police Department, were able to locate Padgett and place her under arrest. While the investigation is still active, Padgett is charged with criminal possession of a forged instrument and theft by deception. Padgett is currently being held in the Oldham County Detention Center.
