RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- Richmond Public Library will be showing the 1967 classic "To Sir, With Love" on Friday for its Fourth Friday Films series. From 2 to 4 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 27, the film we be shown in the meeting room at the Westover Hills Branch Library. According to organizers, the movie stars the late Sidney Poitier, who plays Mack Thackeray, a novice teacher. Thackeray faces a class of rowdy working-class students, and the film reflects the problems and fears of teenagers in the 1960s.
